Nestled in the northern woods of Douglas County, this small rural school maintains a strong relationship with the local community and provides rich educational choices in a small school setting. A relationship with lifelong learning is the focus and practice. Additional experiences for students at Solon Springs schools includes a solar panel roof system that provides first hand knowledge of renewable energy, a school forest and garden, a newly renovated playground area, and walking trails.
Each student enrolled in the Solon Springs School District, in ANY of the schools described above, has access to all resources, services, and extra curricular programs in our Public School. Each week students receive high quality instruction within each of the following disciplines: Art, Music, Library and Physical Education. In addition any supplemental resources a student requires, such as Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy, School Counseling and Special Education are staffed in our building.
